SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT MARKETING

This course integrates business management and marketing theory to the sports and entertainment industry. Students will learn how business managers function in sports and will research contemporary issues, real-life situations, and careers related to sports management and marketing. Students will develop skills in the areas of facility design, merchandising, advertising, public relations/publicity, event marketing, sponsoring, and product distribution. This course will give students opportunities for hands on experiences in the business of sport and entertainment.
